Contemporary photography of The Meadows,

Bar décor. This befits a historic bar
located in a City that played a major
role in the early history of
photography, championed by pioneers,
Hill and Adamson, a century-and-a-half
ago. The photographs are by 'Photofour'.
'Photofour' is an informal group of four
photographers living in and around
Edinburgh - Frank Howie; Fred
Penfold; Charlie Duncan; Terry Steele.
All share memories of the Meadow Bar and
the Southside from their student days
and continue to document this fine area…
